Helping Your Communication Take Flight.
MEET STACI

Staci Hickey, M.S., CCC-SLP
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Plymouth State University and my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. Since then, I have gained over 25 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist in a variety of settings including grade schools, long term care facilities, acute care and rehabilitation hospitals, outpatient clinics, and private practice. Throughout my career, I have also had the pleasure of supervising several speech-language pathology assistants and graduate students in the Communication Disorders Department at UMASS Amherst.

I started Universal Speech Therapy in 2020 in order to provide online speech and language therapy to families during the pandemic. I quickly realized that online speech therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy for most children and is more convenient for families. I enjoy the way that teletherapy allows me to connect with parents to help their child use newly learned skills in their lives outside of therapy. I have become so passionate about increasing access to high-quality pediatric therapy regardless of where a family may live.
Outside of work, I enjoy taking my dog, Winnie, on long walks, cycling, golfing, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. I also love star-gazing with my telescope and learning about astronomy!
Let's connect so you can learn more about how teletherapy will work for you! Use the button below to book a free 20-minute Zoom consultation.
