Staci Hickey, M.S., CCC-SLP
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Plymouth State University and my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. Since then, I have gained over 25 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist in a variety of settings including grade schools, long term care facilities, acute care and rehabilitation hospitals, outpatient clinics, and private practice. Throughout my career, I have also had the pleasure of supervising several speech-language pathology assistants and graduate students in the Communication Disorders Department at UMASS Amherst.
I founded this staffing company to be different, to fill a crucial gap for quality professionals in schools and medical facilities. My experience working in various settings taught me what therapists truly need: fair pay, a work-life balance, and robust support. I wanted to create a place where therapists are not just employees, but valued team members. A place where you're not just going to work, but advancing in a fulfilling career. This isn't just business for me; it's about mentorship, exceptional leadership, and the kind of support I always wished to have.
Outside of work, I enjoy taking my dog, Winnie, on long walks, cycling, golfing, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. I also love star-gazing with my telescope and learning about astronomy!
